EIN application stuck on Loading — what to do
If the Tax ID (EIN) plugin form shows Loading indefinitely after payment, the form session likely failed to initialize. Try these fixes in order.
Quick fixes
- Hard refresh — Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
- Clear site data for otoco.io in your browser settings, then log back in
- Try a different browser — Chrome or Firefox usually work best
- Disable ad blockers — some extensions block the embedded form iframe
- Check your network — corporate VPNs and firewalls sometimes block form providers
Verify payment went through
- Open the Plugins tab — Tax ID (EIN) should show as ordered/paid
- Check your email for a payment receipt
- If payment did not process, re-order from Plugins or ask OtoCo AI: "I need an EIN"
Still stuck?
- Open Workbench and tell OtoCo AI: "My EIN form is stuck on loading"
- Email human support with your entity name, Token ID, and a screenshot
Processing hasn't started
Until you successfully submit the Tax ID form, OtoCo cannot file with the IRS — even if payment went through. See EIN processing time.
