How do I mint governance tokens?
The Mint Tokens plugin issues an ERC20 token on behalf of your entity — free, you pay only gas.
Launch a new token
- Open Plugins → Add → Mint Tokens
- Choose Launch New Token
- Enter token name, symbol, and total supply
- Click Deploy Token and sign in your wallet
Link an existing token
- Choose Link Existing Token
- Paste the ERC20 contract address
- Click Attach Token and sign
Common uses
- Governance tokens for DAO voting
- Ownership tokens representing equity or membership units
- Utility tokens for access, rewards, or staking
For (D)UNAs, linking a governance token also enables the automatic DUNA upgrade when you reach 100+ holders.
