Do I need a Virtual Mailing Address?
A Virtual Mailing Address (VMA) gives your entity a real U.S. mailing address for bank applications, contracts, invoices, and business mail — separate from your registered agent address.

- Contracts and invoices need a professional U.S. address
- Company mailbox — incoming mail is scanned and opened in your DashPanel Mail tab

How to order
- Toggle Virtual Mailing Address during formation ($249/yr)
- Order from the Plugins tab after formation
- Open the Mail tab on your entity and add Virtual Mailing Address from there
- Ask OtoCo AI: "I need a U.S. business address"

Bring Your Own Entity includes the VMA free for year one. After year one, VMA renews at $249/yr if you keep it.
Using the Mail tab
After you order VMA (or when mail already exists for the entity), open the Mail tab on your entity DashPanel:
- Copy your U.S. mailing address from the address bar when the subscription is active.
- Browse scanned envelopes in the inbox.
- Open a letter to preview the envelope, then Open PDF or Download PDF to read the scan.
If you have no active VMA yet, Mail shows an option to add the company mailbox ($249/yr). If your VMA lapses while scans are still on file, the inbox stays locked — renew from Mail or Plugins to unlock envelopes and PDFs again. Guests who are not signed in do not see the Mail tab.
