Wallet connection errors — how to fix

Wallet connection problems usually come down to browser extensions, network mismatches, or stale sessions.

"Unknown connector"

  • Update your wallet browser extension to the latest version
  • Try WalletConnect if the direct extension connector fails
  • Use Chrome or Firefox — some browsers block wallet injection

WalletConnect issues

  • Scan the QR code from your wallet's in-app browser, not the phone camera alone
  • If the session expires, disconnect and start a fresh connection
  • SafePal and other mobile wallets work via WalletConnect — select it explicitly at connect time

Connected but wrong account

  • Switch accounts inside your wallet extension before connecting
  • Disconnect OtoCo and reconnect with the correct address

Wrong network

  • Switch to Polygon (OtoCo default) in your wallet
  • If looking for an existing entity, try the chain where you formed it (Ethereum, Base, etc.)

Privy email login

If you signed up by email, link or connect a wallet from account settings before attempting onchain actions.
