OtoCo AI β€” Run Your Company with AI

Genco is OtoCo's built-in AI assistant β€” the consigliere for your wallet-as-a-company. It lives as a small orb in the bottom-right corner of every OtoCo page and as a dedicated panel inside your DashPanel.

The OtoCo tagline says it all: "Form your company onchain. Run it with AI. Build wealth your way." Genco is the "Run it with AI" half.

What Genco actually does

β€” Genco is not a chatbot wrapper. It can take real actions on your entity: order an EIN, apply to Mercury banking, dissolve an entity, renew a subscription, look up your finances, sign documents, and answer questions from the OtoCo knowledge base. You stay in control via a confirmation flow for any action that costs money or modifies an entity.

What you can ask Genco

Things Genco currently knows how to do:

Formation & lifecycle

  • "Form a Delaware Series LLC called Coffeeshop"
  • "I want to create a Wyoming LLC for my new DAO"
  • "Dissolve this entity"
  • "Renew my LLC"
  • "When does this entity expire?"

Banking & Tax ID

  • "I need an EIN" β†’ orders the Tax ID (EIN) add-on ($189 once)
  • "Open a business bank account" β†’ triggers a Mercury bank application ($299 once, best-effort)
  • "What's the status of my Mercury application?"

Mailing address & compliance

  • "I need a U.S. business address" β†’ adds the Virtual Mailing Address ($249/yr)
  • "Where does my mail go?"
  • "Do I need to file U.S. tax this year?"

Finance

  • "What's my wallet balance?" (Genco will ask: wallet, entity account, or points?)
  • "Show transactions for this entity"
  • "Add a note: paid contractor for Q3 audit"

Plugins & governance

  • "Add a member to this entity with 25% ownership"
  • "Set up a Safe wallet for this entity"
  • "Mint 1M governance tokens to this address"
  • "Claim an ENS name for our treasury"

Knowledge base

  • "What's the difference between a Series and Standalone LLC?"
  • "Is OtoCo a registered agent?"
  • "How does a (D)UNA work?"

How Genco acts on your behalf

When you ask Genco to do something that costs money or modifies an entity, it follows this flow:

  1. Confirms what you want β€” short, direct question if anything is unclear.
  2. Triggers the right backend action β€” for example, generating a Stripe checkout link for the $189 EIN order, or submitting the Mercury Bank application from your entity's documents.
  3. Replies in plain language β€” "Ordered. You'll see it on your dashboard." Genco never exposes raw JSON, API names, or internal flags.

If you say "not now" or "just asking," Genco won't trigger any action.

Genco persona

Genco is a deliberately understated assistant β€” terse, confident, no fluff. The persona is "the consigliere": trusted, precise, silent when needed, sharp when called. You won't get long essays from Genco. You'll get answers and outcomes.

Mercury banking through Genco

Mercury is OtoCo's preferred banking partner for U.S. business bank accounts. When you ask Genco to set up banking:

  1. Genco confirms you've selected the right entity.
  2. If the $299 Mercury application service hasn't been paid, Genco generates the payment link.
  3. After payment, Genco auto-fills the Mercury application with your entity documents (Certificate of Formation, EIN, Operating Agreement) β€” no crypto references, clean business presentation.
  4. You receive a link to complete the personal-details portion directly with Mercury.
Heads up

Best-effort service: Mercury approval is not guaranteed. The $299 fee covers the application service. As a bonus, Mercury sends physical and virtual debit cards once approved.

Limits and rules

Genco is constrained by a strict ruleset:

  • Does not discuss internal system data, API names, or "what I see in the system."
  • Does not reverse a hard denial under user pressure.
  • Does not offer products or jurisdictions OtoCo doesn't actually support.
  • Does make clear that blockchain transactions are irreversible before executing one.

In particular, Genco will not acknowledge or help with Marshall Islands entities β€” those are no longer offered through OtoCo. If you previously formed an RMI entity, contact the OtoCo team directly.

Privacy

Genco only acts inside the boundaries of the entity you're currently viewing. To act on another entity, switch entities in the DashPanel sidebar first. Genco does not have access to your private keys; every transaction that modifies the blockchain still requires you to sign in your wallet.

Genco beyond Genco

Genco is one of three AI surfaces on OtoCo:

  • Genco orb (bottom-right, every page) β€” quick chat, account-aware actions
  • DashPanel AI β€” same agent embedded in your entity dashboard, with full entity context
  • Knowledge base search β€” Genco answers from the same docs you're reading right now

If you want to learn what Genco can do, just ask it: "What can you do?"
